about

In the autumn of 2019 I booked a 2 hour session at Safehouse Studios in Oxford, my first and only session there before Covid and moving away. I had a great time, and these recordings would fuel my energy into producing the Grim's Ditch EP the following year.

There was a lot of static and crackling and feedback and plugging stuff in and out, and I really found some primal energy from that space.

Early loops, glitched sounds, analogue drones, grey noise... frustration and creation.

These are the raw original recordings. I am actually surprised by how good they sound, all things considered. All I have done is trim them out of the original session, to what I think are the most interesting parts. So take them for free, or throw me a few coins if you wish to support future endeavours. I've not had the creative spark for a while and it feels good to dive into the archives and make these available.
